A funny story...
I thought I would use this story to prove two things...1) How much of a generation gap there really is between us and older generations 2) How technology illiterate people can really be! My boyfriend's family owns a jewelry story in West Seattle and one day we were visiting. In the back room I noticed his mom working on the computer, but getting quite frustrated. It was clear that the computer was not doing what it was supposed to be doing. From a distance I watch her get up to turn the heat down. This was odd considering that it was already chilly in the back room and that she loves heat! I went up to give her assistance and asked, "What is wrong with the computer." She told me that the computer had a virus, but that it was ok because she turned the heat down. She was under the assumption that the computer was too "cold" in the back room and that is why it contracted a virus. I bit my lip to keep from laughter and quickly explained that temperature really has noting to do with whether a computer contracts a virus or not. My boyfriend and I still laugh about this today!

oh too funny. You need to submit this story to Readers Digest or somewhere. So when we are the age of your mother (I probably already am) I wonder what we will do that will cause the younger generation to laugh. That is kind of scary to think about isn't it?
